Delectable Feathered Star

Yeah!  We got our 19th-Century Patchwork Divas' Treasury of Quilts books today and now we can get started cutting, which is my favorite part.  I am choosing to do the quilt layout that is featured, so I've split the quilt into 6 sections or months.  The first four sections will include cutting and sewing of the four columns of stars.  The fifth section will include cutting and sewing of all of the sashing strips, sashing stars and assembly of the inside of the quilt top.  The sixth and final section will be the borders.  I'm hoping that this will be manageable in 6 months, so that I can have a new quilt for our bed next fall.

Here is your challenge...if you want to participate you need to send us pictures.  This month we want a picture of your fabrics that will be in your quilt.  Either post the picture below or send it to us in an email (sales@farmchickquilts.com) and you will be entered into the drawing for this month's prize.  If we pick your name we will send you this very bright and spring-like For You Charm Pack by Zen Chic.

I can't wait to see what colors everyone has picked.

Happy sewing,

Mand
