New Christmas Block of the Month

With today being the first day of April, my mind of course goes to Christmas (not really).  But if you are a quilter on top of things you might be thinking about getting a new Christmas quilt done to decorate with during the holidays.  We are offering a 6 month Christmas Block of the Month program starting in June.   The picture shown below is the quilt we will be working on.  You will make 2 blocks along with pieces of the ribbon sashing each month.  We are just trying to get a feel of how many books and how much yardage to get right now.  If you are interested please comment below, email or give us a call and we will get your names on a list.  The quilt measures 58-1/2" x 73-1/2" finished.

Price for the in-store program will be $120 with a 10% discount for paying before May 16th.  Price for the online program will be $145 with a 10% discount for paying before May 16th.

  1. Is this a free BOM? If it is, then I'm very interested. It looks lovely. I've been checking back often, to see if you were going to have another free BOM. I hadn't seen this post until today, though. B from Canada
    • B, Unfortunately, this BOM is not the free one. I am planning on having an 6-month free online BOM starting in June, so be checking at the end of May for that info. Mandy
      • Thanks so much for clearing that up. Looking forward to the new BOM. I like the idea of a 6-month BOM. Seems like it would be easier for the creator and the followers. 12-month BOM's can be a bit "too much". B from Canada
  2. Mandy - is this BOM mailed out or do we come into the shop once a month and if we come into the shop what days/evenings do you have this event? Thank you for your help with this.
    • Kristine, If you live in the area you can come into the shop to sew or pick up as your schedule permits. I'm not sure on which day we will have the meetings on, as I try and tailor it to the members. We've been meeting on Saturday's for our Mystery Quilt, but I'm open to doing it during the evenings. If you don't live in the area we will mail out the segments monthly and email tips and tricks that we've found useful. Hope this helps. Mandy
      • Hi Mandy; thank you for your reply. I'm about an hour or so from Garner; I have prior commitment on the first Saturday of the month but any Saturday other than that will work for me. Is the book included with the kit costs? I'll keep watching your posts to see what is decided for a meeting time to determine if I'm signing up. I would rather drive to the store for BOM club than participate through the mail.
