Christmas Cantata and More

What a crazy weekend!  My church's Christmas Cantata was last night and it was awesome.  I love being a part of it and this year we had a ton of people singing.  This is the same Cantata that Mary is the pianist for and she does a wonderful job.  I actually had a solo and didn't pass out, that's good, right?  Mary started a tradition last year of picking a name from the choir for a red and white quilt that she made.  My Mom's name was picked and her comment was that it would look perfect in our "office", which is her upstairs.  I had to take a picture of the tree all lit up, there are definitely some perks to having my shop in my Mom's upstairs.  One of them is a 12 foot tree!

We've had some problems with spam comments on the November Block of the Month, so the web guys changed some settings.  If it asks you to sign up that's why.  We might have to delete that post, so if you haven't gotten the instructions for the November block do so now just in case we need to take it down.

My new sewing machine is working great.  It took some time before I could sew on it as last week filled up pretty fast.  I'm hoping this week to try quilting something that I've been waiting to finish for a long time.  I met with the Moda rep last week and have some some awesome fabrics showing up in the next few months.  I did order precuts, some of which should show up soon!

The 2015 Online Sampler Quilt is started and we will take into consideration all of your block choices.  Feel free to keep them coming.  Have a great week and hopefully I can show you my quilting project later this week.
